The Wrap - Masters Wrap 11/4/10

1. Interested to see Folau looking to return to Melbourne. Ox's mate Cullen knows he is gone. This is what he told us on GF Day last year in the box. Who will they get rid of? Finch, um...who else?

2. Tiger. Who would bet against him? His comeback has been quite, quite extraordinary. Westwood will need some catching, but Masters pressure seems to be amazing how it follows Monday mornings - and mentally soft players. What about Masters head honcho (Mr Paine) putting his two bob's worth re Tiger...eight months too late. Disgrace.

3. A-League is suffering the ARL expansion blues (remember Adelaide Rams, Perth Reds, Gold Coast Giants, etc). All these one off rich benefactors who stump up cash, don't like losing longterm - exit Gold Coast and North Queensland. Then there will be the double ups - like Western Sydney...house of cards.

4. Can anyone quite believe Brett Lee is playing for Australia in 20-20 (starts May 1st)? He has not taking a wicket - NOT ONE - since starting IPL. Joke. He could be painful in the dressing room not playing but telling everyone about his record.

5. Can anyone work out how Shaun Tait gets a Cricket Australia contract - and Dave Warner does not...and for that matter Dan Christian gets one too? David Hussey should have kept his and Bracken, Clark - deserved to be axed.

6. Richmond AFL club needs to be shut down.

7. The Eels need a win desperately - if nothing else than to silence the rumours of discontent. Start with second phase play, less drop ball and get Justin P$$re on the field more. The errors by Mateo will see him sacked soon.
